Antalya Gulet Charter: Crewed Blue Cruise for 12 to 16 Guests

Two crewed gulets: Mavi Rüya, 24 metres with six cabins for twelve guests at Kaleiçi Yat Limanı, and the 30-metre Toros Esintisi, eight cabins for sixteen, at Setur Finike Marina. Daily rates 28,000 and 42,000 TL; call +90 242 811 25 82 for a date.

A gulet is a broad wooden ketch built for cruising between anchorages rather than for speed, and ALUA charters two of them. Mavi Rüya is a 24-metre Bodrum Tersanesi hull launched in 2019, with six cabins, twelve guests and a day rate of 28,000 TL from Kaleiçi Yat Limanı. Toros Esintisi is a 30-metre Bodrum Tersanesi gulet from 2017: eight cabins, sixteen guests, 42,000 TL a day from Setur Finike Marina. Both go out fully crewed, with a skipper, a cook and deck crew whose wages sit inside the rate.

In a large party a gulet is the cheapest way to spend a week on the water. Toros Esintisi at 252,000 TL for the week works out at 15,750 TL per person across sixteen guests; Mavi Rüya at 165,000 TL comes to 13,750 TL each for twelve. For a cruise with nights aboard, though, the number that matters is cabins rather than day capacity: six on Mavi Rüya and eight on Toros Esintisi, two to a cabin, which is what decides how a group of friends or two families actually splits up.

What the crew covers and what you settle separately

Crew wages are in the daily rate on both gulets: skipper, cook and deck hands. Food and drink are not. You agree the shopping list and the budget with the cook before departure and pay for provisioning on top, which means you set the menu. Also outside the rate: fuel, billed on what the engines burn, and harbour fees away from the home berth. The boat comes with insurance, a clean before handover, lifejackets and safety equipment, and a deposit is taken at the marina and returned once the gulet is back undamaged.

Mavi Rüya from Kaleiçi, Toros Esintisi from Finike

The two gulets start from opposite ends of the coast. Mavi Rüya lies in the old harbour below Kaleiçi in Muratpaşa, in the middle of Antalya, so guests staying in town walk to the boat; the first day runs beneath the Falez cliffs past the point where the Düden falls drop into the sea, then Mermerli and Sıçan Adası before turning west towards Phaselis. Toros Esintisi sits at Setur Finike Marina, the nearest berth in the fleet to the Kekova line: Üçağız, the sunken city, Gökkaya and on to Kaş.

A week costs about six days

Weekly rates are not seven daily rates added up. Mavi Rüya is 28,000 TL a day but 165,000 TL for the week, where seven separate days would come to 196,000 TL; Toros Esintisi is 42,000 TL a day and 252,000 TL a week, exactly six days' money for seven nights aboard. The season opens in May and closes in October, with July and August the busiest and the dearest — a weekend in those two months wants booking two to three weeks ahead. Winter gulet cruises generally do not run.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can sleep on a gulet?

+

Mavi Rüya sleeps twelve in six cabins and Toros Esintisi sixteen in eight, which is two to a cabin on both boats. Those are also the day-charter numbers, so nobody has to sleep on deck to make the party fit. If there are fourteen of you, Toros Esintisi is the one of the two that takes the group.

Is food and drink included in a crewed gulet charter?

+

No. Crew wages are in the rate but provisioning is separate. Both gulets carry a cook who prepares meals on board; you agree the shopping list and the budget before departure and pay for the food and drink on top of the 28,000 or 42,000 TL daily rate. Fuel and harbour fees away from the home berth are extra as well.

Can we book a single cabin instead of the whole gulet?

+

Both gulets are chartered whole, so the rate covers every cabin whether you fill it or not. Shared across a full party the figures are reasonable: 165,000 TL for a week on Mavi Rüya is 27,500 TL a cabin across six, and 252,000 TL on Toros Esintisi is 31,500 TL a cabin across eight.

Which gulet suits a Kekova blue cruise?

+

Toros Esintisi, because it lies at Setur Finike Marina, the closest berth in the fleet to that stretch of coast. A week from Finike takes in Üçağız, the Kekova sunken city, Gökkaya and Kaş without long transit days. Mavi Rüya starts from Kaleiçi Yat Limanı in central Antalya and works the gulf side instead, towards Phaselis, Adrasan and Suluada.

Do gulet cruises run outside the summer?

+

The season runs from May to October, and winter gulet cruises generally do not operate. The sea is around 24°C in June, 28°C in August and still about 25°C in October, which makes late September and October the quietest warm weeks of the year. July and August are the busiest and most expensive, so a weekend then needs booking two to three weeks ahead.

Two gulets, two very different starting points: twelve guests in six cabins leaving from central Antalya on Mavi Rüya, or sixteen in eight cabins from Finike on Toros Esintisi. July and August dates go first, and crew and provisioning are arranged once the week is held. Call +90 242 811 25 82 with your dates and group size and we will confirm which gulet is free.
